Big Bud, 16V – 747 “The Worlds’ Largest Tractor has been on display at Heartland Acres Agribition Center since arriving in April 2010. Many people from around the world have had the opportunity to see Big Bud during an extended stay at Heartland Acres Agribition Center in Independence, Iowa.

What started out to be a 30 day visit in 2010 grew into a 3 year visit. “The monstrous tractor and Heartland Acres both benefited from the visit and the attention gained has helped both be recognized in their own right.” commented Craig Johnson, Executive Director at Heartland. Big Bud has called the Heartland Acres campus home for the past three years except or a period of time when it visited the Farm Progress Show in Boone and then for a short stay at Heartland Museum in Clarion, Ia. The Heartland Museum in Clarion will be the home of Big Bud for the next several months while details are worked out for a visit to another location. The Machine Shed at Heartland Acres Agribition Center in Independence, IA will have a large area to fill with other interesting and significant tractors in the coming months. Twenty-five other tractors remain on campus with several news ones slated to arrive this summer.
