Other attractions are the upper level or ‘loft’ area of the forty-three foot high building that features the “Hall of Time”. The Hall of Time begins in 1830 in Iowa Territory and dedicated to the first settlers and their early farming methods, and displays the progression to today’s practices. See the wonderful mural by artist, John Shafer.
“The Machine Shed” at Heartland Acres is a 6,500 square foot facility that displays antique farming equipment and shows the evolution to the machinery used today.
